Cultivating a habit of focused attention reduces stress, and is an important life habit for busy people. Take time to reflectively assess yourself as a “passionate living” person, and let yourself be mentored by the wisdom of artists, poets, and mystics who struggled themselves with the yearning to become fully alive.
This session helps us to increase our resilience, and discover new ways to look for joy and participate in the Creativity of God. The time is a gift of remembering that each of us is a human being, not a “human doing”, with comfortable journaling, quiet, and sharing about ways to slow down just a bit and snatch the joy and savor it, even if life has you on the run.
The day includes an award-winning film short, lively discussion, and casual self-assessment. This is serious fun for the zest-full and the wanna-be zestful!
